Succesful site names are brief and describe what services your business has to offer ....

You will increase your visiblity on the web by having an easy to remember and reasonably short name,
(22 characters maximum) one that both you are your visitors can identify with.

Your webiste name does not have to be your company name thus John Doe's Plumbing could be
plumbersdepot or bathroombasics. Both give an insight into what a visitor can expect to find.

Notice that no capitals, spaces, hypens, special characters, numbers or long words
have been used for the proposed website name.

Search engines as a rule do not recognise capitals, they insert characters for spaces i.e. % 20%
(which can be confusing), they view hyphenated words as attempts to boost ratings
by mimicking keyword lists which are used for searching.

Long words lead to mispelling by visitors and there are many
online sites that will gladly take your misdirected visitors.
